No new stages were added in this release. This version included the costumes from the first Japanese PlayStation 2 version, bringing the total to 48. The European Dreamcast version was released on July 14, 2000. This will replace the cutscene of Tengu in the church tower to the uncensored version during the intro. Set the "age" in Options to at least 21, then achieve a top-10 score in Survival. This is usually hidden however, it can be unlocked. Somewhat famously, the original intro for DOA2 featured a "cloning" scene where a nude Kasumi floats in a blob of yellow jelly. There are 33 costumes spread across all characters in this version. There are no unlockables in the US release. It was based on the NAOMI arcade "Millennium update" version, but added Versus and Sparring modes, as well as Team Battle Mode. The Dreamcast port was first released in North America on February 29, 2000.
